Rhapsody has worked with Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK’s
leading wealth management companies, on a range of key
projects. Firstly, the client wanted to present its information-heavy
Business Continuity Plans in a more interesting and
engaging way. Rhapsody pitched the idea of three short
animations that would help clearly showcase the relevant
procedures to Brewin Dolphin’s employees.
Rhapsody took the project from inception to execution,
providing conceptual design, video production, artworking
services, bespoke illustrations, photography and videography.
These videos were a real departure from Brewin Dolphin’s
traditional communication strategies and to date they remain
Brewin Dolphin’s most watched safety promotion. By adding
a storytelling element, we were able to create an animation
that felt dynamic and captivating.
Rhapsody scripted, storyboarded, visualised and developed
everything within the animation, as well as organising the
voiceover. Ensuring we worked within Brewin Dolphin’s brand
guidelines and colourways, Rhapsody made sure we were
true to their brand in our execution and visualisation.
Following on from this, Rhapsody worked with the client
on a year-long internal campaign called Enriching Lives.
Like most companies, Brewin Dolphin owes much to its
long-standing client relationships and the staff who nurture
those over time. Rhapsody suggested turning the words
from client thank you letters into pieces of typographical
art that could be given to the client who sent the letter
and the colleague who received it.



In addition to the two originals, smaller versions
of the artworks would be sent to Brewin Dolphin’s
offices across the country to be displayed as a benchmark
of the quality of relationships the company would like
to encourage. At the end of the year, all of the artworks
were displayed in a show which clients and staff were invited to.
Further to this, Rhapsody were asked to provide creative
input on the company's annual awards. The Brewin Dolphin
Awards celebrate the talents of its workforce and the company
asked Rhapsody to produce inspirational posters of the winning
staff to highlight their skills and reward them for their hard
work. Rhapsody did a photoshoot with the relevant staff
members and produced more than 12 dynamic typographical
posters to help champion the qualities of Brewin Dolphin’s
most hardworking employees. By helping Brewin Dolphin
to embrace more creativity in its internal projects, the business
was able to deepen the strong bonds with its clients and better
engage with staff.
