Rhapsody has built a long-term relationship with online
luxury retailer Yoox Net-A-Porter (YNAP), regularly working
across both the MR PORTER and NET-A-PORTER brands.
Not only do we produce Porter Magazine and Mr Porter Post,
but we have also developed products such as a shoppable digital
publication aimed at NET-A-PORTER’s EIPs (Extremely
Important People) for the company.

Most recently, YNAP turned to Rhapsody to work on a second iteration of its global partnership with the international watch and jewellery trade show Watches & Wonders. Rhapsody orchestrated a shift from print to digital in order to overcome challenges resulting from the pandemic. As part of a global, multi-layered customer campaign, Rhapsody built a website that put the focus on YNAP’s offering as the main e-commerce partner of Watches and Wonders.

"The main aim of the site was to act as a digital showcase of new releases by 11 of the world’s most prestigious watchmakers. We created the UX/UI design using Ceros for both desktop and mobile. By combining exclusive shopping opportunities with integrated editorial content – such as recommendations by their editors and interviews – customers were given the chance to dive deeper into the world of watches. "

It was crucial that the design should marry function and aesthetics for a seamless user experience. The challenge was to come up with a navigation system that would allow customers to move easily between the participating watchmakers, the products, the editorial content and MR PORTER and NET-A-PORTER’s respective men’s and women’s offering. A simple, easy-to-use UX menu became the central component of the design.

The platform needed to highlight the luxury offering. Rhapsody opted for a sleek layout and a refined look that mirrors the premium nature and incredible craftsmanship of the timepieces presented on the site. With this high-quality product, Rhapsody not only helped Watches & Wonders and YNAP to achieve a digital first together but also impressed key stakeholders.
